The TSA has made another critical safety reminder, asking US travelers to keep electric toothbrushes and all other devices that run on lithium batteries in carry on, not checked bags. This is due to the safety concern of lithium batteries overheating and catching fire. This risk is especially concerning in the cargo hold where it is contained and pressurized. The devices need to be in the cabin where immediate action can be taken to solve an in-flight emergency and be compliant with the safety regulations.
