The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is set to conduct the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2024 on June 16 across various exam centres in India. This examination, originally scheduled for May 26, was postponed due to the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections. The exam is the first of three stages in the selection process for officers of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS), among others.
Arrangements in Place for Candidates
With several lakh candidates expected to appear for the examination, various state transport departments have made arrangements to ensure their smooth travel.
