U.S. online trading platform Webull launches in Canada

The St. Petersburg, Fla.-based fintech announced on Tuesday that Canadian residents are now eligible to trade both Canadian- and U.S.-listed equities on its app. Webull, founded by Chinese Alibaba alum Anquan Wang and now incorporated in the Cayman Islands, received regulatory approval in November to launch its do-it-yourself investing platform in Canada.
