TSX opens subdued as mining shares gain, industrials weigh

Jan 24 (Reuters) – Canada’s main stock index opened slightly higher on Friday as mining stocks added support, but losses in industrials shares limited gains.

At 9:31 a.m. ET (1431 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index (.GSPTSE), was up 0.08% at 25,456.58.
