TSX opens flat as markets brace for new US tariffs — TradingView News

Canada’s main stock index opened flat on Wednesday, as gains in energy stocks were offset by declines in technology shares, with investors exercising caution ahead of new U.S. tariffs set to take effect next week.

At 9:31 a.m. ET (1331 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index TSX was up 0.04% at 25,349.32.
