Investing.com – Canadian equities started mixed on Wednesday. The top gainers were Capped Industrials, Capped Consumer Discretionary and Capped Real Estate indices.At the market open in Toronto, the climbed 0.18%. The and the were mixed. The TSX Venture rose 0.54%, while the Smallcap was down by 0.19%.

Top Gainers:

Bird Construction (TSX:): Rose 9.37% or 2.50 points to 29.19.

Nutrien (TSX:): Increased 1.87% or 1.24 points to 67.51.

Badger Infrastructure Solutions (TSX:): Climbed 1.74% or 0.69 points to 40.31.

Top Losers:

Energy Fuels Inc (TSX:): Declined 2.61% or 0.200 points to 7.470.

Denison Mines (TSX:): Fell 2.68% or 0.07 points to 2.54.

Cameco (TSX:): Dropped 2.02% or 1.42 points to 68.98.
