Sun Day event to celebrate clean energy on Barrington Town Center Day

BARRINGTON — The town’s Energy Committee is inviting area residents to a “Sun Day” renewable energy fair and solar installations tours Sunday, Sept. 21, from noon to 3 p.m., at the Town Common behind Calef’s Country Store. 

Sun Day is planned to mark a pivotal moment in America’s clean energy transformation with hundreds of events across all 50 states, including a half-dozen throughout New Hampshire, according to organizers. The local event will feature tours of municipal, commercial and residential solar installations in town, as well as energy information tables, exhibits and several electric cars.
