FRANKFURT (dpa-AFX) – The DAX made another attempt to stabilize at the end of a turbulent week. However, there was initially not much movement on Friday: Shortly after the start of trading, the leading German index rose by 0.08 percent to 22,331.79 points. In view of the profit-taking after the recent high, however, a weekly loss of 0.8 percent is on the cards.
The MDax, which includes medium-sized companies, recovered by 0.73% to 27,597.13 points on Friday morning. The Eurozone’s leading index, the EuroStoxx 50, also made up some ground, gaining 0.2 percent.
On Wednesday morning, the Dax had crowned its month-long record chase with a high of just over 22,935 points.
