Sineng Electric powers energy storage power plant in Guangxi, China

Sineng Electric has announced that a 150MW/300MWh standalone energy storage power station in Guangxi, China, has been brought online.

The plant consists of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) containers, central Power Conversion Systems (PCS), and a 220kV booster station, Sineng’s 4MW central PCS MV turnkey solution proving instrumental in the project’s success.  

The central turnkey station stands out for its high power density, which significantly reduces both floor space required and overall investment costs associated with utility-scale energy storage projects. Its phase change heat dissipation technology ensures effective thermal management, guaranteeing the system’s long lifespan and exceptional performance.
