The China Shanghai Composite Index fell by 0.65% today, continuing a downward trend with a 1.04% decline over the past month. The market’s advance-decline ratio of 0.54x reveals that more stocks declined than advanced, with 2,988 stocks falling compared to 1,604 rising. Large-cap stocks struggled significantly, while mid-cap and small-cap segments showed mixed results. Notably, Nexchip Semiconductor Corp. led large-cap gains at 16.63%, while Fujian Cosunter Pharmaceutical Co. dropped 14.78%. In mid-caps, Henan YiCheng New Energy surged 20.1%, contrasting with Guomai Culture’s 13.91% decline. Small-cap stocks performed better overall, with a 0.68x ratio.
