Sectors Up Close: Vietnam 'under great scrutiny' to prove exports are not made in China

Vietnam was a big winner of U.S.-China trade tensions during President Trump’s first term, as companies rushed to move production out of China. The country was one of the first to push for trade talks with the White House after April’s tariff announcement, but Steven Schoenfeld of MarketVector Indexes told Reuters Vietnam will have to prove it’s not a front for Chinese exports.
