Schroders UK equity manager Bennison exits

Schroder Prime UK Equity manager Matthew Bennison is set to exit, with the FTSE 100 asset manager planning to recruit ‘another experienced fund manager’ to replace him.

Bennison, who also co-managed the closed-ended Schroder Income Growth Fund (SCF) has resigned from Schroders, according to an SCF market announcement this morning. 

Bennison had been formally named as a co-manager on the investment trust for less than two months, having only been promoted in May as part of a package of measures aimed at discount control and improving shareholder returns.
