Real estate stocks send S&P/TSX composite higher, U.S. markets post gains

TORONTO — Strength in the real estate sector helped Canada’s main stock index close higher on Friday, while U.S. markets also gained ground. The S&P/TSX composite index was up 81.76 points at 30,260.74.
