Perenti secures $1.1 billion services contract with Endeavour Mining, adding to deal spree

Perenti has secured a $1.1 billion underground mining contract with an Endeavour Mining PLC (LSE:EDV, TSX:EDV, OTCQX:EDVMF) subsidiary for the Mana gold complex in Burkina Faso. The deal, announced on Monday, is part of a broader series of agreements the mining services company has secured in recent weeks, totalling more than $2.1 billion.

Perenti also announced, on May 22, a $1 billion contract with AngloGold Ashanti (ASX:AGG) for underground mining services at the Obuasi Gold Mine in Ghana. And on May 19, it revealed a $500 million contract between its underground mining subsidiary, Barminco, and Gold Fields Limited (ADR) (NYSE:GFI) for the Agnew Gold Mine in Western Australia.

The latest agreement demonstrates the company’s “enduring” relationship with Endeavour, said Gabrielle Iwanow, president of contract mining at Perenti.
