The new owners of Nexus Mods have officially responded to fans’ concerns about a change in the video games site’s direction, after some unsettling details about the company and its plans to use tactics like microtransactions and NFTs in its business ventures.

For the first time since its inception, Nexus Mods has changed owners, with founder Robin Scott announcing that the site had been sold. What was strange about the announcement was that Scott didn’t name the new owners; fans discovered that it was a company called Chosen.
