More than 1,000 electric customers without power in Washington County, mostly in Springdale

More than 1,000 Southwestern Electric Power Co. customers in Washington County were without power Monday morning, according to an outage map on the company’s website and an independent outage tracker.

As of 9:38 a.m., 1,290 Southwestern Electric customers in the county were included in the outages, according to poweroutage.us.

The Southwestern Electric map shows the majority of those outages in Springdale, mostly centered around Jones Elementary School, reaching to Robinson Avenue at the south, Luther George Park to the north, just past Holcomb Street at the west and the property line of the Springdale Municipal Airport to the east.
