Anglo American Plc, which traded at a record high earlier this week, became the latest miner to disappoint on Thursday, saying costs would be almost 10% higher this year than previously expected. That’s partly because it will produce less iron ore, platinum and coal than forecast. Anglo’s shares fell as much as 7.7%, the most in seven months.

Anglo’s production update follows releases this week from BHP Group, Rio Tinto Group and Vale SA that all showed weak quarters. Glencore Plc will report next week.
