Former CEO of SWITCH Mobility Mahesh Babu Subramanian has been appointed as Managing Director of Olectra Greentech for a period of three years with effect from September 27, 2025.
The board of the directors of the Hyderabad-based company has on Wednesday approved the appointment of Subramanian as Managing Director and an additional director of the company.
Prior to joining Olectra, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of SWITCH Mobility and earlier as the Managing Director and CEO of Mahindra Electric. He has also been actively involved in various Electric Vehicle (EV) committees of the Union Government, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI)
The board had also approved the re-appointment of Chintalapudi Laksmi Kumari as an independent director of the company for a further term of five years with effect from January 9, 2026.
