LVMH investors prematurely bet on a China fix

The $310 bln group’s 1% year-on-year sales growth beat expectations of a flat third quarter, thanks to rising demand in its key market. Yet a 14% share-price jump, and wider sector rally, suggest investors consider the China luxury slump over. In reality, it’s too soon to tell.
