What Are the Stock Market Holidays for 2024?

Even Bay Street takes holidays.

The regular schedule for the Toronto Stock Exchange, the Canadian Securities Exchange, the New York Stock Exchange, and the Nasdaq is Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Eastern time with weekends off. There are also certain closures for stock market holidays. If the holiday falls on a Sunday, it will be observed the following Monday.
