Ionos Joins MDax, Jenoptik Moves Down to SDax

Date:

ZUG (dpa-AFX) – As anticipated, Ionos, the internet service provider from the United Internet Group, is set to join the MDax index for mid-cap stocks. The company will replace technology group Jenoptik, which in turn will be relegated to the small-cap SDax index. This was announced by Deutsche Börse on Wednesday evening, following the close of US markets, via its index subsidiary ISS Stoxx in Zug, Switzerland. Analysts at JPMorgan had predicted these changes.

Additionally, the SDax will see the investment holding company Mutares and IT service provider Nagarro join as new constituents, replacing biofuel producer Verbio and specialty pharmaceutical company Medios, both of which are leaving the index. The changes take effect today. There are no changes to the leading German Dax index./men/zb
