Hong Kong stocks rallied Tuesday, while Shanghai also advanced after China’s premier called for more measures to boost the country’s flagging markets.
The Hang Seng Index jumped 2.63 percent, or 392.80 points, to 15,353.98.
The Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.53 percent, or 14.64 points, at 2,770.98, and the Shenzhen Composite Index on China’s second exchange added 0.95 percent, or 15.33 points, to 1,626.60.
