CenterPoint Energy (NYSE:CNP) said Monday that the Senior VP of its electric business Lynnae Wilson is no longer with the company, in what may be the first staff action related to Hurricane Beryl, which knocked out power for millions of people in Houston and surrounding areas earlier this month; it took nearly two weeks for the utility to get power completely restored.
Wilson led all aspects of CenterPoint’s (CNP) electric distribution, transmission, and generation utilities serving the Houston region and parts of Indiana.
CenterPoint (CNP) President and CEO Jason Wells sent a letter to customers apologizing for the company’s response during the hurricane, outlining a plan to improve future response and restoration efforts, as well as improve its communication with customers and the public.
