Hang Seng and Straits Times Rise; Kospi, Shanghai Composite Fall. European Indices Trade Flat

Asian stocks ended mixed today following sharp decline in key U.S. indices. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index rose 1.70 percent and Singapore’s Straits Times index jumped 0.90 percent. South Korea’s Kospi declined 0.30 percent, and China’s Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.26 percent. Japan’s Nikkei ended almost flat. 


Key European Indices were trading flat. U.K.’s FTSE was trading 0.23 percent higher. Germany’s DAX was also trading in the green. France’s CAC 40 was trading almost flat.
