EU Targets Steel Imports With Carbon Border Tariff

The EU set up the first carbon market all the way back in 2005. Now the bloc is taking things further, launching the world’s first carbon border tariff. The levy will target imports of carbon-intensive materials like steel and iron. BloombergNEF’s Antoine Vagneur-Jones discusses the goals and implications of the levy.
