Direct Carbon’s compact Wunderpumpe-2 to debut at GreenTech Amsterdam

The Wunderpumpe-2 (WP-2), which Direct Carbon describes as “the world’s smallest and most cost-efficient carbon capture system built specifically for indoor growers” is set to debut at GreenTech Amsterdam 2025.

“Weighing around 30 kg and occupying a fraction of a cubic meter, the WP-2 is engineered to fit seamlessly into research facilities, nurseries, container farms, and in-store urban farms where space and budget are often limited,” says Ankur Garg, Commercial Head of Direct Carbon.

“By capturing CO₂ directly from the air, the WP-2 provides an affordable alternative to the expensive and inconsistent supply of liquid CO₂, allowing growers to explore CO₂ enrichment without committing to large-scale systems,” Garg adds.
