David Dastmalchian Talks Possible Count Crowley Adaptation, Pitches Idea for DCU Role

Actor David Dastmalchian has addressed his desire to see Count Crowley get an adaptation. He’s also keeping the door open for a role in the DCU, despite his demise as Polka-Dot Man in James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad.

Recently, Dastmalchian was promoting the new film Rosario (hitting theaters on May 2) when he took part in Grae Drake of CBR’s Draw & Vibe show. When discussing the idea of moving more into directing, Dastmalchian was asked if he’d be up to take the helm of a live-action version of his Count Crowley comic. While the actor doesn’t foresee directing the potential movie or TV show himself, he can see the potential in a Count Crowley adaptation, making him hopeful that it could end up happening one day.
