FRANKFURT (DEUTSCHE-BOERSE AG) – After the cold shower almost two weeks ago, the Scale segment has also recovered. Nevertheless, the small caps are still lagging behind the big players on the stock market. But individual stocks can certainly keep up.
August 16, 2024 FRANKFURT (Borse Frankfurt). Steeply downwards and then steeply upwards again – the sharp setback on stock exchanges worldwide almost two weeks ago also affected the Scale segment. But here, too, a rapid recovery set in afterwards. After hitting a low of 1,082 points on Monday last week, the Scale All Share was back at 1,168 points on Thursday morning.
Overall, however, the picture remains mixed: over the last twelve months, not even a third of the Scale shares are up. And the “little ones” are still unable to keep up with the DAX.
