FRANKFURT (DEUTSCHE-BOERSE AG) – German shares have hardly moved overall, but a number of investors have. Especially from the sidelines to the short side, which could benefit the market in Goldberg’s view.
July 11, 2024: Since our last sentiment survey, the DAX has only managed to post a gain of 0.2% on the reporting date. But the bulls in particular among the investors we surveyed probably still had reason to be happy. At least temporarily. Even if it is not certain to what extent the interim rise in the Borsen barometer of around 2.2% could have been due to the result of the second round of voting for the French National Assembly, there were at least two attempts, both before and after the weekend, to lift the DAX above the supply level of 18,550/600 points that we had assumed.
