Biopharma Partners with Telemed Firm and Shares are Climbing

Date:

This company is striving to change the narratives around women’s healthcare and offering solutions that reinforce and improve them. And shares are responding positively to a recent partnership announcement.

Women’s health innovator Evofem Biosciences, Inc. (OTCQB: EVFM) announced in a press release today a new market partnership with telemedicine company Hello Alpha to offer an FDA-approved solution to prevent pregnancy for those who choose to use an on-demand method of birth control.

Hello Alpha is a telemedicine company with a medical team specifically trained for women’s unique needs. The solutions being offered by Hello Alpha and Evofem are designed to complement the use of GLP-1 medications, which can potentially reduce the effectiveness of birth control pills during specific intervals within the dosing cycle.

Shares were trading almost 20 percent higher in morning activity.
