BBC Breakfast host Roger Johnson shared the heart-wrenching news on Sunday, disclosing that a guest with whom he’d formed a connection has been given just three months to live.
During the broadcast, Roger and Rachel Burden discussed the uplifting tale of BBC Breakfast contributor Warwick Smith, who is fighting throat cancer.
Despite initially being given six months to live, doctors have now halved Warwick’s prognosis to three months.
However, the grim diagnosis hasn’t stopped Warwick from pursuing his ambitious fundraising objectives.
Rachel began the segment by stating: “Back in 2022, Warwick Smith was told he had throat cancer and was given six months to live. Since then, he’s raised nearly £70,000 for cancer charities,” as reported by the Express.
