Amplify ETFs floats new Solana fund targeting 36% option income

The new fund aims for a 36% annual option premium with weekly covered calls.

Amplify ETFs has introduced the Amplify Solana 3% Monthly Option Income ETF (SOLM), a new addition to its  YieldSmart  suite of covered call ETFs. SOLM carries an expense ratio of 0.75% and distributes income monthly The fund aims to provide exposure to Solana’s price movements while generating a targeted monthly income of 3%, equivalent to an annualised option premium of 36%.   The ETF employs a strategy that writes weekly out-of-the-money call options on 30–60%
