FRANKFURT (dpa-AFX) – The Dax fell further on Friday at the big expiry on the futures markets. The leading German index fell by 0.45 percent to 22,896.61 points at the start. This indicates a slight decline for the week.
The Dax is currently in consolidation mode, wrote market analyst Jochen Stanzl from trading firm CMC Markets. It is good and healthy for the stock market to fall from time to time. The leading index had only reached a record high on Tuesday.
The MDax of medium-sized companies lost 0.60 percent to 28,927.65 points on Friday. The EuroStoxx 50, the leading eurozone index, fell by 0.43 percent./la/jha/
