Frankfurt Stock Exchange opening: Little movement ahead of SAP’s quarterly results

FRANKFURT (dpa-AFX) – After two days of gains, the German stock market treaded water in midweek trading. Investors are keeping a low profile ahead of the quarterly results of DAX heavyweight SAP, which are due to be released this evening. In early trading, the DAX was down slightly by 0.1 percent at 24,298 points.

The MDAX for medium-sized companies was up slightly on Wednesday, gaining 0.1 percent to 30,167 points. The Eurozone’s leading index, the EuroStoxx 50, fell by half a percent./bek/jha/
