The TSX Composite Index fell by 0.5% due to broad-based declines in tech, manufacturing, and industrial services sectors, while consumer discretionary, health services, and communication stocks saw gains. Bird Construction shares dropped 15% due to project delays caused by economic volatility. Nuclear Fuels Inc. and Premier American Uranium announced a merger approval, and Oklo Inc. was selected for three U.S. Department of Energy reactor pilot projects.
