SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – A state-wide tour on clean energy innovation is headed back to Savannah.
The 15th annual Georgia Clean Energy Roadshow kicked off Tuesday morning at Savannah Technical College.
The Clean Energy Roadshow is a statewide tour focused on the future of alternative fuel vehicles and workforce development.
The event starts in Savannah but will make pitstops in Macon and Lawrenceville over the next few days.
The Clean Energy Roadshow is organized by the state’s Public Service Commission and Commissioner Tim Echols, and it brings together policymakers, industry leaders and tech experts to explore the latest in electric, hydrogen, natural gas and propane-powered fleet vehicles.
Some of the cutting-edge vehicles at Tuesday’s event include Rivian’s electric pickup and SUV, the Kia EV9 and school buses powered by propane autogas.
