Elon Musk has yet to react to the fact that Germany has unveiled a converted Tesla Model Y that runs on hydrogen.
Yes, despite Musk’s disdain for hydrogen, these engineers turned the iconic electric vehicle into a “hyper hybrid.” This conversion is being put out there to promote green hydrogen as a fuel for the future.
There’s been some mixed reactions over the whole thing though, particularly from those who are familiar with the Tesla’s CEO, well-known stance against hydrogen.
Musk has long criticized hydrogen as inefficient compared to battery-electric vehicles, and he’s been vocal about his belief that pure electric power is the only real future.
This really didn’t faze the Germans though who went ahead and used one of the most efficient electric vehicles in the world to promote hydrogen.
