FRANKFURT (dpa-AFX) – Following the impressive record run of the Dax, it rose again on Thursday. The leading German index rose by 0.2 percent to 21,290 points in early trading, but was initially denied a new record high. The Dax had reached record highs on five of the last six trading days.
In the second German Borsa series, the MDax lagged behind the Dax, falling 0.5 percent to 25,917 points. The EuroStoxx 50, the stock market barometer for the eurozone, fell slightly./bek/jha/
