Copia Top 100 star stands by ‘beaten up’ UK equity fund

Copia Capital Management continues to stick with a fund that has borne the brunt of the sell-off in UK equities. 

WS Amati UK Listed Smaller Companies lost 30.4%% in the three years to the end of 2024 as sentiment in UK small caps tumbled to rock bottom.

This fall is much steeper than the -19.8% average returned by peers in the fund’s UK small-cap category over those three years. It is also well below the 3.9% returned over that period by the FTSE Small-Cap excluding-investment trust benchmark.
