Tourists expressed excitement on Saturday (January 4) at the Ice and Snow World in Harbin, capital city of China’s northeastern Heilongjiang Province.

The festival is set to be the largest in history, according to Sun Zemin, the head of Harbin Ice and Snow World, who said it will feature a record 300,000 cubic meters of ice and snow.

Visitors took photos with the massive ice castles and sculptures, with some describing the attraction as “breathtaking”.
