Borse Frankfurt-News: “Increased correction risks” (weekly outlook)

FRANKFURT (DEUTSCHE-BOERSE AG) – The US Federal Reserve was able to give the stock markets further tailwind in the new week. However, warnings of a short-term overheating of prices are increasing.

December 16, 2024 FRANKFURT (Borse Frankfurt). The DAX starts the last full trading week before Christmas with a small loss. In the morning, the DAX is slightly down at 20,360 points. On Friday, the leading index had reached a new all-time high of 20,523 points. However, the weekly closing price of 20,405 points only represented a mini gain of 0.1 percent.
