Aktien Frankfurt Eroffnung: Investors wait for US jobs report – Magnificent week

Date:

FRANKFURT (dpa-AFX) – After the recent record-breaking run, the DAX is struggling a little on Friday. However, a wafer-thin drop after a weekly gain of 3.7 percent so far shows that there is still no sign of fatigue. In early trading, the leading index fell by 0.04% to 20,351.09 points. In contrast, the MDax rose by 0.23 percent to 27,194.76 points. The EuroStoxx 50 fell slightly by 0.1 percent.

The Dax increased its annual gain to more than 21 percent in the year-end rally. It recently recorded six consecutive days of gains – with a rise of well over 1000 points. In order to set a new record, the 20,373 points reached the previous day must now be exceeded. The labor market data in the USA is likely to be a test of sentiment in the afternoon. Investors had already held back in New York the previous evening ahead of this data./tih/jha/
