Borse Frankfurt-News: “Trump 2.0 and traffic lights out – a memorable day”

FRANKFURT (DEUTSCHE-BOERSE AG) – Fund manager Frank has some ideas on how things can continue for the local economy and the stock markets after the memorable past week.

November 12, 2024 FRANKFURT (pfp Adisory). Rarely in Germany’s recent history has so much changed politically in a single day as last Wednesday. In the morning, it became clear that Donald Trump and the Republicans had clearly won the elections in the USA, and in the evening the traffic light government in Germany collapsed. I cannot rule out the possibility that in the distant future we will all conclude that this day was a real turning point for Germany and Europe. But that is primarily a question for historians (and, from today’s perspective, for prognosticators).

What seems indisputable to me, however, is that this 6 November 2024 could also change things for the German economy and the local capital market. Personally, I was not surprised that Donald…
