Date:

FRANKFURT (dpa-AFX) – After three consecutive days of losses on the Dax, share prices stabilized on Thursday. In the first minutes of trading on Xetra, the leading German index rose by 0.2 percent to 19,425 points. However, a sweeping upward movement towards the recent high is still a long way off. “Since last week’s record level of 19,675 points, the share barometer has taken a short breather,” noted the HSBC bank.

The MDax of mid-cap blue chips was also up moderately in early trading, rising 0.1 percent to 27,060 points. The EuroStoxx 50, the leading barometer of the eurozone, gained 0.4 percent./bek/jha/
