Rahul Gandhi in US on 3-day visit, aims to ‘strengthen bond’ between nations

Congress leader and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, arrived in the United States on Sunday for a three-day visit, during which he will focus on strengthening India-US ties.

The Congress MP was warmly received at the airport in Texas’s Dallas by Congress workers led by Sam Pitroda, Chairman of the Indian Overseas Congress, along with members of the Indian diaspora.

Upon arrival, Gandhi expressed his eagerness for productive discussions aimed at strengthening ties between India and the US on his first visit to the country as the Lok Sabha Opposition leader.

In a Facebook post, Gandhi wrote, “I eagerly look forward to engaging in meaningful discussions and insightful conversations that will further strengthen the bond between our two nations during this visit”.
