ATTLEBORO — Residents and businesses have until Monday to decide if they want to opt out of the alternative electricity program the city offers.
The Massachusetts Community Electricity Aggregation program is designed to save consumers money by combining the buying power of a number of communities.
Governmental aggregation programs like the MCEA work by leveraging group purchasing power to better ensure more competitively-priced electricity rates for participating residents and businesses.
