Hydrogen stocks slide amid US recession fears | Finance

Hydrogen technology stocks have taken a hit amid fears that the US economy could be on course for a recession.

Stock indexes have dropped globally; the UK’s FTSE 100 is down almost 2%, while other EU exchanges have experienced similar falls; Japan’s Nikkei 225 index was down by over 12% at close on Monday.

US markets Nasdaq Composite and the S&P 500 tumbled 6.3% and 4.1% respectively shortly after open.
