Investing.com – U.K. equities started with gains on Thursday, with rises in majority of sectors, the most notable ones being the Personal Goods, Gas Water & Multiutilities, Beverages and Real Estate sectors while Aerospace & Defense and Media dropped.

At the market open in London, the rose slightly 0.03%. The and the also increased. The FTSE 250 climbed 0.22%, while the FTSE 350 increased by 0.19%.

  • Antofagasta (LON:): Declined 1.05% or 23.00 points to 2,163.00
  • Halma (LON:): Dropped 0.91% or 24.0 points to 2,628.0
  • BAE Systems (LON:): Fell 0.59% or 7.50 points to 1,272.50
