Waaree Renewable secures EPC contract for Acciona Energy’s 412.5 MWp solar project in Rajasthan – pv magazine India

Waaree Renewable Technologies Ltd, an arm of Waaree Energies, has secured the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract for Spanish developer Acciona Energy’s 412.5 MWp (335 MW AC) solar project in Rajasthan. Acciona Energy is developing the project through its subsidiary Juna Renewable Energy.

The project, located in Kawani Village of Bikaner district, is a utility-scale solar plant that will deploy bifacial solar modules supplied by Waaree Energies Ltd. “These modules will be installed on horizontal single-axis trackers, and are expected to maximize energy yield through enhanced light absorption and tracking capabilities,” stated Waaree Renewable.
