CHANDIGARH: Former chief minister and leader of opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Tuesday said there is an outcry in the state due to shortage of electricity and water, but BJP is sitting with closed eyes intoxicated with power. He said the party which cannot fulfill even the basic needs of the public like electricity and water, has no right to remain in power.
Reacting to the deepening crisis of electricity and water in the state, he said that due to shortage of electricity, not only the common life is getting affected, but it is also having a negative impact on the work, business and industries.
Hooda said the public is facing shortage of electricity and water in the midst of heat.
